Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu recently shared a instigating post on social media where he teased the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) after their loss in the IPL 2024 Eliminator match to Rajasthan Royals (RR).

With this 4-wicket loss in Ahmedabad, RCB’s brilliant comeback story ended and they were knocked out of the tournament.

Rayadu, a former Chennai Super Kings player, came to Instagram to post a video from his last season with the team, in which the Yellow Army won their fifth title. Devon Conway, Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, and Moeen Ali were shown in the video enjoying the team's victory by raising their hands to show five.

Rayudu captioned the post, “Just a kind reminder from the 5-time champions. Sometimes a gentle reminder is required.”

This led to CSK bowlers, India’s Deepak Chahar and Sri Lankan Matheesha Pathirana, commenting with hilarious emojis. While Pathirana posted a laughing emoji, Chahar had a ‘salute’ emoji to offer.

Both bowlers left the team early this season owing to injuries. Indian bowler Deepak Chahar was unable to fully recover from his injury despite many attempts to return to the team. Pathirana, on the other side, had an outstanding season with the Yellow Army, taking 13 wickets in only six matches.

However, the Sri Lankan pacer had to return to his native country because he had sustained a hamstring injury that required additional treatment.
