Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Nitish Rana had a funny answer when noted commentator Harsha Bhogle asked him about his injury that made him miss the better part of the IPL 2024.
This conversation happened after the IPL 2024 match between Gujarat Titans (GT) and KKR was abandoned due to rain. This meant that KKR was confirmed a top two finish on the points table as they now have 19 points from 13 matches. GT, on the other hand, was eliminated from the race for the playoffs.
As Knight Riders star Nitish Rana caught up with commentator Harsha Bhogle after his side's match against Mumbai Indians, a hilarious conversation took place between the two.
Rana has spent a frustrating stint on the sidelines this season after hurting himself in the season's first game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The all-rounder missed ten games in a row, and rookie Angkrish Raghuvanshi took his spot in the lineup and delivered with the bat.
Rana, who hasn't played much cricket this season due to injuries, gave an epic reply when informed by Harsha that he can't take his eyes off his hands.
"Yeah, it's fine now, but I can't show it here on camera because it's the middle finger (chuckles). I'm happy to be back in the team after missing 10 matches. It was a challenging period for me, as I've never sat out for so many games in the IPL. I'm grateful to the KKR management for their faith in me and their belief that I can still make an impact in the game," Rana told Bhogle.
