IPL 2024: WATCH- Mohammad Kaif and Navjot Sidhu’s hilarious remarks on Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma’s antics

With a 47-run win over DC, RCB rose to the fifth spot to keep their playoffs hopes alive.

Ishant Sharma taunted Virat Kohli after dismissing him | IPL-BCCIDuring the recent IPL 2024 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) in Bengaluru on May 12, fans in the stadium and those watching at home got to see some hilarious antics from two friends Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma.

Both Kohli and Sharma have been friends since their teenage and made their Ranji Trophy debut for Delhi together and played for over a decade together for the Indian team.

During this match, RCB had batted first, and in an intense duel, Virat Kohli had hit a four and a six off Ishant on consecutive balls. However, after those amazing shots, Ishant had Kohli caught behind and gave a funny sendoff to the batter.

Then, during DC’s innings, when Ishant Sharma came out to bat, Kohli didn’t miss his chance and gave a rousing welcome to his friend and the two had some banter as well.

Former cricketers-turned-commentators Navjot Singh Sidhu and Mohammad Kaif made some hilarious comments in Hindi during the friendly exchange between Virat and Ishant, that can be heard in a viral video.

Sidhu says, "First tell me who's the camel and who's the mountain? It looks like a kid is looking at a huge mountain, (referring to Ishant, who is well over six feet)."   

Kaif responds, "A tall man always has to lower his eyes to talk and the smaller one has to raise his head high."

Sidhu continues, amidst the laughter in the commentary box, "He (Virat Kohli) may be small in height but his stature is as big as Mount Everest, there is no one bigger than him."
