A fan breached the security and ran onto the field to touch MS Dhoni’s feet and the former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper had a hilarious reaction to it.

The incident took place during the final over of CSK’s match against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday (May 10).

As soon as the crazy fan made his way to the playing arena, Dhoni acted like he was running away from the pitch invader before going to meet him. The fan proceeded to fall at Dhoni's feet before security personnel escorted him out of the ground.

Dhoni was batting at that time and had smashed Rashid Khan for two successive sixes in the final over of CSK’s innings. Even though Chennai’s defeat was confirmed by then, Dhoni’s 26-run knock off 11 balls with one boundary and three sixes were enough to made the fans happy.

Coming to the match, Gujarat Titans registered a comprehensive 35-run victory over Chennai Super Kings to keep their tiny playoffs hopes alive.

Invited to bat first, GT rode on sublime centuries from captain Shubman Gill (104 off 55) and Sai Sudharsan (103 off 51) to rack up a massive 231/3 on the board.

In reply, the defending champions managed 196/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Daryl Mitchell was the top scorer with 63 off 34 balls while Moeen Ali contributed 56 off 36 balls but they didn’t get ample support to ensure CSK’s victory.
