Rishabh Pant will captain DC in their next IPL 2024 match against RCB on Sunday.

Rishabh Pant tried to mimic Irfan Pathan's action | XDelhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishabh Pant has made a triumphant comeback to cricket in the ongoing IPL 2024. He had returned to competitive cricket after more than 14 months out of the game due to his car accident.

However, he has been a revelation in the IPL 2024, as not only has he proved his fitness with the bat and the keeping gloves, but he has been in terrific form as captain also for DC.

He has scored 413 runs in 12 games with a best of 88* at a strike rate of 156.44. He has scored 3 fifties for DC and hit 31 fours and 25 sixes. This performance helped Rishabh Pant earn a spot in India’s 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 as well.

Ahead of DC’s next match against RCB in Bengaluru, Rishabh Pant was seen trying his hand at pace bowling also. He got some quick lessons from Rasikh Salam Dar and then bowled a few deliveries in the net.

Not only this, Rishabh Pant shared a photo of his bowling action on social media and compared it with former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan’s action. He captioned the post: “Keeper allrounder anyone? @IrfanPathan

Irfan Pathan quoted Pant’s post and replied: “Same same but different ;) bhai off the pitch zip kesi hai? Shuru kare training all rounder wali?

Not only this, but Rishabh Pant also shared a photo of his bowling action on his Instagram account and tagged India pacer Jasprit Bumrah as well.
