Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul came under heavy fire from owner Sanjiv Goenka after LSG’s humiliating loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) last night. SRH chased down the 166-run target in just 9.2 overs setting a new record.

After winning the toss, KL Rahul opted to bat first and managed 165/4 in 20 overs. Ayush Badoni made 55* in 30 balls, Nicholas Pooran in 48* and captain Rahul made 29 in 33.

SRH opener Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma didn’t give LSG bowlers a chance as they chased down the 166-run target in just 9.4 overs. Head made 89*, while Abhishek made 75* with SRH winning by 10 wickets and 62 balls to spare.

Following the embarrassing loss, LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka gave a dressing-down to the captain of the side, KL Rahul. Goenka has copped a lot of criticism for his anger-filled tirade at KL Rahul, that too in public.

However, in a new clip doing rounds on social media, one can see Goenka giving the same treatment to LSG head coach Justin Langer. KL Rahul is seen standing nearby and decides to leave when things get too hot.
