Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli showcased different emotions as Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pummeled them for a record total of 287/3 in the recent IPL 2024 match in Bengaluru.
Travis Head (102 in 41), Heinrich Klaasen (67 in 31), Aiden Markram (32* in 17), and Abdul Samad (37* in 10) took the RCB bowlers to cleaners on a batting beauty of a wicket at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Four RCB bowlers went for more than 50 runs in their 4-over quota, with Reece Topley yielding 68 and Vijaykumar Vyshak leaking 64.
During the SRH innings, Virat Kohli was seen disappointed, angry, and frustrated at his team’s bowlers. He was seen shouting at his bowlers, kicking dirt in frustration and even making gestures as RCB bowlers were being hit for runs.
