IPL 2024: WATCH- Brilliant catches by Ramandeep Singh and Phil Salt rattle LSG batting in game v KKR

LSG was asked to bat first by KKR captain Shreyas Iyer, who won the toss.

Ramandeep Singh and Phil Salt's brilliant catching | IPL XKolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are hosting Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 28th match of the IPL 2024 on April 14, 2024. This match is being played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

LSG came into this game with 3 wins from 5 matches, while KKR had 3 wins from 4 matches. KKR captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bowl first. Shamar Joseph made his IPL debut for LSG.

Deepak Hooda, who was brought into the LSG XI, walked into bat at the fall of Quinton de Kock’s wicket. However, he could manage only 8 runs in 10 balls before a brilliant catch by Ramandeep Singh ended his knock.

Mitchell Starc bowled a shortish delivery on the off-stump and Hooda tried to drive it on the up, but couldn’t keep it down. The ball flew to backward point from the outer edge of the bat. Ramandeep Singh made a full-length dive to his right to take a brilliant catch mid-air.

Marcus Stoinis came to the crease at the fall of KL Rahul’s wicket and started well by hitting Andre Russell for two boundaries. He was on 10 off 5 balls and was facing Varun Chakravarthy in the 12th over when he inside-edged a sharp turning delivery onto his pads.

Keeper Phil Salt reacted cooly and quickly to the catch, and snaffled it one-handed towards his right.
