IPL 2024: WATCH- Glenn Maxwell mightily impressed with Mohammad Nabi’s son’s reverse sweep shot

Glenn Maxwell observes Nabi's son playing reverse sweep | MI XMohammad Nabi made his Mumbai Indians (MI) debut in their recent match against Delhi Capitals in the ongoing IPL 2024 tournament. This was their first win in the tournament after 3 consecutive losses. Nabi didn’t get a chance to bat and bowled 2 overs for 17 runs without taking a wicket.

Mumbai Indians will now clash with Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 25th match of the IPL 2024 on April 11, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

On the eve of the match, Mohammad Nabi was seen playing with his son during MI's practice session and the video of the same was shared by Mumbai Indians on social media.

In the said video, Nabi's son is seen executing the ‘helicopter’ shot to perfection, reminding people of legendary MS Dhoni.

However, the video which caught the majority of attention, was where Glenn Maxwell was very much impressed with Nabi Jr’s reverse sweep shot.

Maxwell, who plays for RCB, was also at the Wankhede Stadium for his team’s practice ahead of the MI v RCB clash. While Nabi Jr was batting, he showcased his skills by executing a reverse sweep, leaving viewers in awe.

Glenn Maxwell, observing from some distance was very much impressed with the shot and lauded the youngster.
