Delhi Capitals (DC) pacer Ishant Sharma produced a toe-crushing yorker to dismiss Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Andre Russell in Match 16 of the IPL 2024 season at Vizag on Wednesday (April 3).

The delivery was so special that Russell had no answer for it as it had him on the floor. He was flat on the pitch. After getting up, the KKR star applauded the unplayable yorker from Ishant.

The lanky seamer bowled that delivery in the final over of DC’s innings. However, Russell had done the damage by then, scoring 41 off 19 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes.

Coming to the match, the Knight Riders racked up a mammoth 272/7 on the board – the second highest total in IPL history.

Sunil Narine was the top scorer with 85 off 39 balls (7 fours and 7 sixes), while Angkrish Raghuvanshi smashed a dazzling half-century (54 off 27 balls). Rinku Singh also played a brilliant cameo of 26 in 8 balls.
