IPL 2024: "No jhagda Virat or Gambhir”- Delhi Police uses Kohli-Gambhir hug in its campaign

Gambhir and Kohli shook hands and hugged one another with smiles of their faces.

Gambhir and Kohli shook hands and hugged one another with smiles of their faces | XThe recent RCB v KKR match in the IPL 2024 had a huge potential both on the field and off the field. Since their on-filed altercation last season, RCB batter Virat Kohli and KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir were coming face-to-face for the first time in the IPL.

Gambhir was the mentor of LSG in IPL 2023 and almost came to blows with Kohli after a match. They had a serious verbal fight and were separated by their respective team players before things got physical.

Many anticipated something similar in Bengaluru as the RCB clashed with KKR, with Gambhir moving to KKR as a mentor for IPL 2024.

However, during a strategic timeout, Gambhir and Kohli shook hands and hugged with smiles, and images and videos of the same went viral on social media.

Delhi Police, who are quite active on social media, took the opportunity to raise awareness about their 'Dial 112' service. And took to social media to send a hilarious post featuring Kohli and Gambhir.

"Kisi bhi problem mein madad ke liye 112 hai taiyaar! Jhagda hua? Dial 112 aur jhagde ko shant karo! Koi bhi jhagda "Virat" ya "Gambhir" nahi," Delhi Police captioned a post.
