IPL 2024: WATCH- Glenn Maxwell’s hilarious impersonation of Virat Kohli’s batting

RCB had a training session under lights in Chennai ahead of IPL 2024 opening match.

Maxwell copying Kohli's batting during nets in Chepauk | IPL XThe Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) squad reached Chennai to face off against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the opening match of the IPL 2024. The tournament opener will be played on March 22, Friday.

RCB players flew to Chennai late last night after attending the Unbox event in Bengaluru where the new design jersey of the team for IPL 1y was unveiled. RCB also changed its name ahead of IPL 2024, replacing Bangalore in its name with Bengaluru.  

The IPL 2024 also marks the return of ace India batter Virat Kohli to competitive cricket. He has been out of action since January this year as he and his wife Anushka Sharma welcomed their second child. Kohli was with his family during this time and missed the entire England Test series at home.

Kohli got straight to work in Chepauk as the RCB team had a training session under lights. Virat Kohli was seen sweetly timing the ball against both pace and spin.

However, his teammate Glenn Maxwell decided to stand behind the nets and copy whatever shot Kohli was playing in the nets. And he did a very good job of doing so as well. Later on, he was seen admiring Kohli’s batting.
