Run machine Virat Kohli has finally ended his break from cricket which he had taken post the Afghanistan T20I series. Kohli had missed the entire England Test series as he was with his wife Anushka Sharma for the birth of his second child.
Anushka and Kohli were blessed with a baby boy, whom they named Akaay. Kohli was previously seen at the Mumbai airport as he arrived from London after a vacation. Many RCB fans were wondering where Virat Kohli was and when he’ll be joining the RCB camp for the IPL 2024.
In a 49-second clip shared via RCB’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, Kohli can be seen exiting from Bengaluru airport and then entering the RCB bar and cafe with a special box and a special message for him.
Kohli will make his return through Bangalore’s IPL 2024 season opener against reigning champions Chennai Super Kings on March 22nd at the MA Chidambaram stadium.

The first clip included the barrage of "Where is Virat Kohli?" comments posted on social media by RCB supporters. Then, throngs of fans are seen anticipatorily queuing outside Bengaluru International Airport in the following frame. Following that, Kohli was seen riding in a taxi to the RCB cafe, where he was met with a box of snacks and a welcoming note.

There are talks of the franchise-changing its name from Royal Challengers Bangalore to Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
