Former India keeper and current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni had created quite a suspense when he posted on his official Facebook page about his new role. Fans stayed on their toes for a couple of days before Dhoni’s latest Facebook post made the revelations.

On Monday, Dhoni dropped a post on his official Facebook page, writing, "Can't wait for the new season and the new 'role'. Stay tuned!"

MS Dhoni, 42, will lead the CSK team in the upcoming IPL 2024 tournament. The tournament begins on March 22 with CSK taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the tournament opener in Chepauk.

Meanwhile, Dhoni put an end to the suspense over his new 'role' as he featured in an advertisement for Jio Cinema for Indian Premier League (IPL 2024).

In the ad, MS Dhoni can be seen playing a double role, adding to the excitement before the cash-rich T20 league.

Dhoni uploaded the video of the ad on his Facebook page and tagging Jio Cinema, he wrote, “New season, double role! All the action brought to you absolutely free with #IPLonJioCinema, starting 22nd March. Kyunki sab yahaan, aur kahaan!”
