Despite continuous rumors regarding his future with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), MS Dhoni, the former India captain, recently visited the serene Deori Maa Temple near Ranchi in Jharkhand, India.
Despite retiring from all formats of international cricket in 2019, the 42-year-old Dhoni continues to play competitive cricket as captain of the CSK team. Speculation grew last season over Dhoni's departure from the IPL, but despite leading CSK to their fifth IPL title, he refrained from making any retirement statements, promising supporters that he will play in the subsequent season.
In couple of videos shared on Instagram, MS Dhoni can be seen visiting the Deori Maa temple. He is seen carrying coconut ‘prasad’ and ‘chunari’ as offerings for Maa Durga, was greeted by surprised fans at the temple, who eagerly took selfies with him.
