The KKR engaged in a fierce bidding war with the Gujarat Titans (GT), Delhi Capitals (DC), and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the ongoing IPL 2024 auction but eventually secured the deal, leaving everyone scratching their heads with the record-breaking bid.

After securing the services of the Australian pacer, the KKR paid tribute to Starc with a special 'Iron Man' reference on their official social media handles. The two-time IPL champions also released an impressive video featuring Starc with a touch of KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan.

Notably, Starc is all set to make his return to the IPL after eight years, having last played in 2015. He has taken 73 wickets in 58 T20Is and won multiple ICC trophies with Australia.
