Shahbaz Ahmed and Mayank Dagar | BCCI-IPLThe trade window for IPL 2024 is set to end on Sunday (November 26) with quite a few surprising moves, retains, and releases on the cards.

Meanwhile, a report published in Cricbuzz claims that Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have traded Mayank Dagar and Shahbaz Ahmed.

The official announcement regarding the same will be made by Saturday night or Sunday morning, the report added.

Dagar was roped in by SRH for INR 1.8 crore last year while Shahbaz was signed by RCB for INR 2.4 crore during the 2022 mega-auction.

Dagar failed to make a mark last season, having played three games for SRH. Similarly, Shahbaz was not at his best in any of his 10 appearances for RCB last season.

Speculations are also rife that RCB might release Wanindu Hasaranga and Harshal Patel for the season. However, a final decision has not been reached, Cricbuzz reported.

On the other hand, there has been speculation about the potential release of Harry Brook from SRH’s camp.

The English batter was purchased by the 2016 IPL champions for INR 13.25 crore. He featured in 11 games last season, scoring only 190 runs at an average of 21.11 and a strike rate of 123.37.
