Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Jos Buttler endured a dismal IPL 2023 campaign. He amassed 392 runs from 14 innings at an average of 28 and a strike rate of 139.
There were a lot of expectations from Buttler this season as he finished the 2022 edition of IPL as the highest run-scorer with 863 runs, helping the Royals to qualify for the final.
However, he failed to live up to the expectations this year. He also struggled to get off the mark on quite a few occasions and recorded as many as five ducks in the season.
Jos Buttler constant failures in IPL 2023 left the fans and cricket experts baffled. The RR opener decided to troll himself after the forgettable season.
After Rajasthan Royals’ last league match against Punjab Kings on May 19, Sanju Samson took to Twitter to share a picture with Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal.
“Yuziii, Josetta..korch neram irunnu nokam Chelapo Biriyani kittiyalo ?” Samson wrote in the caption.
The post drew a hilarious comment from Buttler who wrote, “No Biryani… duck pancakes!”
