Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni has always been known for his calm attitude on the field, regardless of the situation. It is something that has earned him the nickname 'Captain Cool'.

On Saturday (May 20), however, Dhoni lost his cool at Ravindra Jadeja soon after CSK’s last league match of IPL 2023 ended against Delhi Capitals (DC) at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

While the Chennai players were congratulating each other on the win and qualifying for the playoffs, Dhoni was seen having an animated conversation with Jadeja.

The all-rounder’s facial expression was quite telling as he patiently listened to the CSK captain. Dhoni then put his arms around Jadeja as they walked towards the dugout, but later stopped and removed his hands.

During the entire episode, the wicketkeeper-batter seemed furious at Jadeja, who said something in response at the end.

Coming to the match, Chennai Super Kings registered a thumping 77-run victory over Delhi Capitals to seal a playoffs spot.

Opting to bat first, CSK piled up a massive 223/3 on the board on the back of half-centuries from Devon Conway (87 off 52) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (79 off 50).

In reply, the Capitals managed only 146/9 in their allotted 20 over. Skipper David Warner waged a lone battle with the bat, scoring 86 off 58 balls with 7 fours and 5 sixes.

For CSK, Deepak Chahar (3-22), Matheesha Pathirana (2-22) and Maheesh Theekshana (2-23) starred with the ball.
