Mumbai Indians (MI) are due to face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Match 63 of IPL 2023 at Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Tuesday (May 16).

MI desperately need a victory in the all-important fixture to keep their playoff hopes alive. They are currently holding third spot in the 10-team standings with 14 points from 12 games.

Ahead of the match, however, the five-time champions have been rocked by a bad news as Arjun Tendulkar has been bitten by a dog.

In a video shared by LSG on their Twitter handle, Arjun met his friends Yudhvir Singh Charak and Mohsin Khan. While interacting with Yudhvir, the left-arm pacer revealed that he was bitten by a dog on May 13.

As the meet and greet continued, Yudhvir and Mohsin expressed their concern and wished Arjun a speedy recovery.

Arjun Tendulkar has played four matches in the IPL 2023 season so far, claiming three wickets at an economy of 9.35 and a strike rate of 19.66.
