Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter Riyan Parag has been having an abysmal IPL 2023 as he has managed only 58 runs in six innings for the last year’s finalists.

RR have also decided to drop him from their XI as things entered the business end of the tournament after backing the Assamese cricketer initially. The youngster has been replaced in the playing XI by an in-form Dhruv Jurel and Parag recently reacted to a plea of an RCB fan who wanted him to join RCB.

The 21-year-old has spent five seasons with Rajasthan Royals since 2019 and it seems that he might be on the move to join a new franchise which might well be RCB.

A fan shared an old image of Parag cheering for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, and reacting to a fan’s request to join RCB, Parag recalled his past days when he visibly shouted for the Bengaluru-based franchise.

Parag saw a tweet from a supporter who had posted a picture of a little child supporting RCB while waving a Bengaluru-based team's flag.

The Rajasthan Royals batter wrote, “Ahh Memories."

RR had lost three games in a row recently putting their campaign in jeopardy, but a huge win over KKR has put them back in the hunt for a playoff berth. They have 12 points from as many games and need to win both their remaining games as well to make it into the playoffs.
