Delhi Capitals (DC) spinner Lalit Yadav left everyone stunned with a remarkable catch to dismiss Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter Ajinkya Rahane in Match 55 of IPL 2023 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Wednesday (May 10).

During the 12th over of CSK’s innings, Rahane came down the track and smashed a delivery low and flat to the right of Lalit, who made a dive to pluck the catch inches above the ground.

Lalit’s stunning catch left the commentators and umpire Chris Gaffaney in awe. Rahane was also left stunned as he made his way back to the pavilion after scoring 21 off 20 balls.

Coming to the match, CSK skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to bat first. However, the hosts failed to make the most with the bat. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and found themselves struggling at 117/5 after 15 overs.
