Virat Kohli warmly greeted his childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi ahead of the Delhi Capital (DC) v Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on May 6 in the ongoing IPL 2023.

RCB had routed DC when the two teams met at the Chinnaswamy Stadium and sparks are expected to fly this time as well.

However, before the game started, RCB batter and local boy Virat Kohli got a pleasant surprise as his childhood coach was present at the ground. Kohli, who was in midst of practicing his batting, greeted him with a smile as he approached him.

Kohli then took off his gloves and touched his coach’s feet, who smilingly patted him on the back and chit chatted with him a bit.

RCB captain Faf du PLessis won the toss and chose to bat. He also confirmed that Kedar Jadhav was included in the XI. For DC, Mukesh Kumar comes in for Nortje and Mitchell Marsh is also back.
