Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh posted a message for the warring cricketers Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) mentor Gautam Gambhir after their altercation on the field after a recent IPL 2023 match went viral.
The two World Cup winners traded personal insults after Faf du Plessis' Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated KL Rahul's men in match No.42 of the IPL 2023 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium on Monday.
They had to be separated by players and officials of both teams as they faced off in anger after Kohli and LSG pacer Naveen Ul Haq had a verbal incident during the match and when the players were shaking hands.
As a consequence, the BCCI fined Kohli and LSG mentor Gambhir 100% of match fees after their ugly face-off and Naveen Ul Haq copped a 50% fine as well.
Meanwhile, taking cognizance of Kohli's verbal spat with Gambhir, their former India teammate Yuvraj Singh shared his opinion about their issue with a cheeky message about them.
He tweeted: "I think #Sprite should sign #Gauti and #Cheeku for their campaign #ThandRakh what say guys? @GautamGambhir @imVkohli @Sprite."
