Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday named Kedar Jadhav as replacement for David Willey for the remainder of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Jadhav, who made his IPL debut in 2010, has so far played 93 IPL games and has 1196 runs against his name. The right-handed batter, who has previously represented RCB in 17 matches, was brought on board for INR 1 Crore,” IPL statement read.

RCB are battling injuries to multiple players and one of them was Rajat Patidar, who was brilliant for them in IPL 2022. But a heel injury ahead of IPL 2023, ruled him out of the tournament and though RCB has tried Mahipal Lomror and Shahbaz Ahmed at no.3 spot, no one has made impact thus far.

Kedar Jadhav might be the perfect option for the RCB team to fill that vacant spot.
