IPL 2023: Cricket fraternity reacts as PBKS scamper through to win in last-over thriller against CSK

Devon Conway made 92* for CSK | BCCI-IPLChennai Super Kings (CSK) clashed with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 41st match of the IPL 2023 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on April 30. CSK captain MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat first.

Devon Conway scored 92* with 16 fours and 1 six as he anchored one end. Ruturaj Gaikwad with 37 and Shivam Dube with 28 in 17 balls were other notable run scorers. MS Dhoni gave the innings the perfect end with two consecutive sixes on the last two balls of the 20th over bowled by Sam Curran.

Chennai Super Kings finished with 200/4 in 20 overs.

In reply, Prabhsimran Singh top-scored with 42 runs with 4 sixes and 2 fours to his name, while skipper Shikhar Dhawan made 28 in 15 balls. Liam Livingstone, who was looking dangerous, fell for 40 in 24 balls after hitting 1 four and 4 sixes.

Raza and Shahrukh Khan scampered for 3 runs off the last ball to give PBKS a win by 4 wickets and gained two important points.
