Indian cricket fans are some of the most passionate fans in the world of cricket and they take every loss to heart and celebrate every win to the heights. However, sometimes things also get ugly in the stands when there are different opinions and fans of different teams clash over ideas.
Something similar was seen during the recent IPL 2023 match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 29 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
A video went viral on social media where the two groups of fans were involved in a fight that turned ugly with every second which shifted the focus of other spectators at the stadium.
Punches, kicks, hair pulling… all this was seen. In the video that is becoming increasingly viral on social media, it can be seen that 3-4 youths are beating each other fiercely. However, it is not yet clear what led to the fight.

Meanwhile, DC slumped to its sixth loss of the tournament as they failed to chase down the 198-run total posted by SRH.
Earlier, thanks to half-centuries form Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen, SRH posted 197/6 in 20 overs. However, in reply, David Warner got out for a duck, and though Phil Salt and Mitchell Marsh hit half-centuries, wickets in middle overs including theirs proved to be fatal for DC’s chase despite Akshar Patel’s 29* in the end.
