IPL 2023: WATCH- Ashish Nehra hits Murali Kartik in the ‘unmentionables’; left in splits as Kartik grimaces in pain

KKR posted 179/7 in 20 overs after being asked to bat first by GT captain Hardik Pandya.

Kartik felt some pain after Nehra hit him in groin | TwitterBirthday boy Ashish Nehra was in a fun mood ahead of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Gujarat Titans (GT) IPL 2023 game as he was seen having some fun with his former India teammate Murali Kartik, who was readying for the toss at the Eden Gardens on April 29, 2023.

Nehra was talking to Kartik about something before the Tamil Nadu-born spinner was seen falling to the ground and grimacing in pain. Upon further investigation, it was seen in a video that Nehra, while talking to the left-arm spinner, had kneed him in the ‘unmentionables’.

The sudden blow and pain resulted in Kartik going down on the ground and feeling the sharp pain while mouthing some words to Nehra who was laughing at him. However, the GT coach helped Kartik get up and then ran away as his former teammate tried to get his revenge.
