Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis, along with Glenn Maxwell are the pillars of the Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) batting unit and have been firing almost every game for the franchise. RCB are currently on fifth spot in the IPL 2023 points table with 4 wins from 8 games.
Faf du Plessis was bought by the RCB franchise in IPL 2022 auction and handed the captaincy of the team as Virat Kohli had stepped down after the IPL 2021 edition. And Faf has led the RCB well, as they made it into the playoffs in that edition.
Kohli and Faf have formed a formidable opening combination for RCB as well and two share a great chemistry with one another, which reminds fans of Kohli and AB de Villiers' friendship.
Therefore the fans were massively excited when RCB practiced at the M Chinnaswamy stadium ahead of their match against Rajasthan Royals and saw Kohli and Faf walking out side by side.
What caught the interest of fans was Kohli hilariously imitating Faf’s batting stance. So, the backlift was exaggerated like Faf and that was a little hilarious for fans.
Even Faf saw what Kohli was doing and told him something as later Kohli copied Faf’s movements properly.
