Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are currently engaged in Match 37 of IPL 2023 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. CSK came into the clash occupying the top position on the points table, while RR were third.
RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bat first, in his team's 200th IPL match. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler provided a strong start, particularly the former playing some dazzling shots.
Buttler fell for 27, but Jaiswal went on to register his highest IPL score of 77 off 43 balls. Samson (17) and Shimron Hetmyer (8) couldn't get going but youngsters Dhruv Jurel (34) and Devdutt Padikkal (27*) finished off the RR innings strongly as they posted 202/5, the highest IPL total on this ground.

Jurel, who has impressed many with his finishing skills during the season, struck three fours and two sixes in his 15-ball knock before he was run out trying to steal a bye in the last over as CSK captain MS Dhoni flicked a perfect underarm throw with the batter well short of his crease.
