IPL 2023: Cricket fraternity reacts as Gujarat Titans’ bowlers hand them a 55-run win over Mumbai Indians

Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad picked 5/64 in 8 overs between them in middle overs for GT.

David Miller and Abhinav Manohar pushed GT past 200- run mark | BCCI-IPLThe Mumbai Indians (MI) traveled to Ahmedabad to face off against defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera in the 35th match of the IPL 2023 tournament.

Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first and revealed that MI made two changes as Riley Meredith replaced Jofra Archer and Kumar Karthikeya Singh came in for Hrithik Shokeen.

Though Shubman Gill made 56 in 34 balls, it looked like GT would finish anywhere between 160-180 given the way MI bowlers were pulling things back. However, then Abhinav Manohar and David Miller turned the tide as they added 71 runs in just about 6 overs.

Manohar made 42 in 21 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes and David Miller made 46 in 22 balls with 4 sixes and 2 fours. In the end, Rahul Tewatia with 20* in 5 balls with 2 sixes pushed GT to 207/6 in 20 overs.
