Rajasthan Royals (RR) traveled to Bengaluru to face off against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 32nd match of the IPL 2022 on April 23. This is an important encounter for the home side as they are placed sixth on the points table.
Sanju Samson of RR won the toss and surprisingly chose to bowl first. RR came in unchanged, while RCB brought in David Willey for Wayne Parnell. This was also the second straight match Virat Kohli was captaining the RCB side as Faf du Plessis battled with an injury and played just as a batter.
RCB got off to the worst start possible as Virat Kohli was dismissed on the first ball of the match as Trent Boult bowled the perfect inswinger and trapped Kohli in front of the stumps. The umpire gave the RCB captain out and Kohli walked without looking for a DRS review.
Then Faf du Plessis (62) and Glenn Maxwell (77) added 127 runs for the second wicket and helped RCB post 189/9 in 20 overs. Boult and Sandeep Sharma picked two wickets apiece for RR.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals' social media admin is known for quick wit and it was on display once more as he shared a collage of two photos of Kohli’s dismissals off Trent Boult.
RR admin captioned the post “Kabhi Khushi, Kabhi Gham”, as one photo had Boult dismissing Kohli LBW in the ongoing IPL match which showed happiness for them.
However, the second photo was of Boult getting Kohli out LBW in the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup which India lost, signaling the sorrow.
However, this tweet was enough for the Kohli and RCB fanbase to react to the same with some interesting tweets.
Here are some of them:
