IPL 2023: WATCH- Chinnaswamy crowd chants “Dhoni, Dhoni” as MS walks out to bat; Anushka Sharma says “They love him”

MS Dhoni led CSK defeated Virat Kohli starrer RCB by 8 runs.

Anushka Sharma's reaction to Dhoni's entry in Chinnaswamy went viral | TwitterThe M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 17 was colored yellow as Chennai Super Kings visited Bengaluru to face off against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their IPL 2023 encounter.

CSK was asked to bat first by RCB captain Faf du Plessis and thanks to 83 from Devon Conway and a whirlwind 52 from Shivam Dube and 37 from Ajinkya Rahane, the MS Dhoni-led side put on 226/6 in 20 overs.

In the chase, despite losing Virat Kohli for 6 and Mahipal Lomror for a duck, Faf du Plessis (62) and Glenn Maxwell (76) and their 126-run partnership threatened to pull off the chase successfully, but the CSK bowlers bounced back nicely as RCB was restricted to 218/8 in 20 overs.

When this happened, the camera panned towards actress Anushka Sharma who was present in the stands to cheer for her husband Virat Kohli, who plays for the RCB franchise.
