MS Dhoni's fitness is in focus as coach Fleming informed that he was having knee issues.

MS Dhoni hitting some big shots for sixes in Bengaluru | CSK TwitterChennai Super Kings (CSK) will face off against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their next IPL 2023 clash at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 17.

CSK is at the 6th spot in the Indian Premier League 2023 points table with 4 points from 2 wins in 4 matches and RCB is one spot below CSK with a same number of points but with a negative net run rate.

CSK is coming into this match after losing a close game to Rajasthan Royals (RR), but the main concern for them has been the injuries to some key players. Ben Stokes missed the last two matches due to a toe injury, while Deepak Chahar has been ruled out until May due to a hamstring issue.

After the last encounter against RR, CSK coach Stephen Fleming confirmed that even MS Dhoni was carrying a knee injury and this was a huge shock to CSK fans. CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan had said that Dhoni will continue to play, despite injury concerns.

MS Dhoni has been in very good hitting form, having made 58 runs in 4 innings with a strike rate of 214.18 with 6 sixes and 2 fours to his name.
