Gujarat Titans (GT) are currently facing Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 18 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali.

Opting to bowl first, the visitors restricted PBKS to a modest 153/8 in 20 overs. Mohit Sharma starred with the ball, returning with the figures of 2 for 18 in his four overs. The likes of Rashid Khan (1-26), Joshua Little (1-31), Alzarri Joseph (1-32) and Mohammad Shami (1-44) chipped in with wicket apiece.

Apart from the bowlers, GT’s wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha was at the top of his game. Saha played a key role in running out Shahrukh Khan (22) and Harpreet Brar (8) while he displayed brilliant presence of mind to get rid of Jitesh Sharma.

After Saha took the catch following a faint edge off Jitesh's bat, the umpire remained unmoved and bowler Mohit and skipper Hardik Pandya also looked disinterested in taking the review.

However, Saha persuaded Hardik for getting the delivery reviewed and the GT captain eventually gestured for the DRS. As it turned out, UltraEdge showed a spike when the ball was next to the bat.
