Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis | BCCI-IPLVirat Kohli put on a show with the bat in Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) ongoing IPL 2023 clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Opening the innings, Kohli slammed 61 off 44 balls and stitched a 96-run partnership with RCB skipper Faf du Plessis.

While Virat’s knock was studded with 4 fours and as many sixes, it was the maximum he hit against England pacer Mark Wood that caught everyone’s attention.

During the sixth over RCB’s innings, Wood bowled a short of length delivery and Virat Kohli dismissed it from his presence. The star batter nonchalantly whipped it over deep mid-wicket to leave everyone stunned.

After Kohli’s dismissal, Du Plessis took the matter into his hands and smashed fifty off 35 balls. In his half-century, the RCB captain hit a 115-meter six as well.

The gigantic sixer came in the 15th over against Ravi Bishnoi, who dropped short and Faf du Plessis launched him out of the stadium.
