Ahead of the Mumbai Indians (MI and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) IPL 2023 encounter at the Wankhede Stadium on April 8, 2023, Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan were seen sweating it out in the nets.
Both the players didn’t do much in MI’s 8-wicket loss to Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) in their tournament opener in Bengaluru and would want to contribute big as MI face an uphill task against MS Dhoni and his men, who are coming off a victory over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
Meanwhile, the digital streaming of the IPL 2023 on JioCinema has been appreciated and loved by the fans and one of the highlights of that has been the commentary which is being done in 12 languages. And amongst that, Bhojpuri commentary has been receiving universal love from cricket fans.
Pulling that string, Mumbai Indians have come up with an interesting video featuring Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan. The clip shows Suryakumar playing his iconic “supla” shot (scoop shot), and Kishan who is waiting for his turn, appreciates the shot and makes a comment in Bhojpuri.
Kishan lauds Suryakumar’s shot and says in Bhojpuri: “Ahahaa. Kaaa Shot Mara Be.”
The caption of the video asked the fans, “Ishan ki commentary ya Surya ka shot? Kya pasand aaya? (Surya’s shot or Ishan’s commentary? What did you like the most).”
