Sunil Chettri takes a catch during RCB fielding drills | RCB TwitterRoyal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will open their IPL 2023 tournament against Mumbai Indians on April 2nd and have been practicing hard for the big encounter. On Friday, RCB camp was visited by Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Chhetri who has a great equation with former RCB captain Virat Kohli, also participated in the fielding drills of the RCB team and took a stunning diving catch as well.

The video of the same was posted by the Royal Challengers Bangalore on their official Twitter handle, which saw the Indian football legend diving full-length to his right to take a stunning catch.

In the video, he can also be seen chatting with Virat Kohli as the two shared some laughs and while speaking about the same and the conversation he has with the latter, Chhetri revealed that he finds Virat very funny.

That side of his is probably not known to a lot of people and I don’t know whether he’s gonna like me for saying this but he’s hilarious, man!” Chhetri said.

When complimented on his jersey, the 38-year-old revealed, “This is what I got today. Generally, I always eat RCB’s head for the jersey. I was in Bangalore, so I came to take my jersey. Loving it!”

When asked why RCB is such a special team for him, he replied, “Because I’m a BFC, I’m a Bangalore boy. Right from when I signed for BFC I’ve been supporting Bangalore. I’ve got an added motivation with Virat. It’s my city, it’s our team. I’ve been supporting RCB for the longest time.”
