Mumbai Indians (MI) speedster Jofra Archer generated a lot of heat in a intra-squad practice match ahead of the team's opening match of IPL 2023 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday, April 2 in Bengaluru.
Archer, who previously played for Rajasthan Royals, was bought by the MI franchise in the mega auction last year, but couldn't play any games as he was still recovering from his injury issues, but this time he is completely fit and will be expected to lead the MI attack in absence of senior Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who underwent a back surgery recently.
In a video shared by Mumbai Indians on Twitter, the England seamer could be seen giving MI captain Rohit Sharma and his opening partner Ishan Kishan a difficult time in the middle as they both looked in discomfort facing the fiery pacer.
In an earlier clip, Archer smashed it at the nets with the bat, as he is also known for his big hits and can be more than useful in the death overs.
