For the 2023 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad has been bolstered by the addition of England’s ace all-rounder Ben Stokes.

The England Test skipper might not able to bowl in the initial few matches but he is certain to feature as a batter.

Stokes is the latest southpaw entrant in the CSK line-up, joining the likes of Devon Conway, Moeen Ali, Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja.

On Wednesday (March 29), Super Kings shared a video on Twitter, in which Stokes and Jadeja were seen playing similar shots during a net session.

They came down the track and lofted the ball straight over the bowler’s head and executed strokes like front foot defence, back foot flick among others and it looked the same.

CSK will open their IPL 2023 campaign against the defending champions Gujarat Titans in the tournament opener on March 31.
