IPL 2023: WATCH – “I’ll just keep quiet and listen to both,” Kohli on sitting on same table with Ronaldo and Federer

Virat Kohli is set to play for RCB in the 2023 edition of IPL.

Virat Kohli | RCB/TwitterStar India batter Virat Kohli is an ardent follower of Soccer and Tennis and his love for Portuguese football great Cristiano Ronaldo and Swiss legend Roger Federer is not a secret.

Over the years, Kohli has expressed his admiration for Ronaldo and Federer on social media and in multiple interviews.

Recently, the former India skipper was asked what he would do if he was sitting at the same table as Ronaldo and Federer. In response, Kohli said he would prefer listening to them than speaking.

“I’ll just keep quiet and listen to both of them. To be honest, I don’t have much to add to that conversation. It’s all soaking in and listening to some of the greatest athletes in the history of sports,” he said on RCB Bold Diaries.

When asked who is the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) of cricket, Virat Kohli took the names of Sachin Tendulkar and Sir Viv Richards.

“I have always taken two names of those who have revolutionised batting in their generations. One is Viv Richards and the other is Sachin Tendulkar, who is my hero. These two people have completely changed the dynamics of cricket in their era. That’s why I feel they are the two greats,” he stated.

Virat Kohli is set to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2023 edition of Indian Premier League, slated to get underway on March 31.

RCB will open their IPL 2023 campaign against Mumbai Indians (MI) at Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 2.
