MS Dhoni walks out to bat in practice match | CSK InstagramThe Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is prepping well for the upcoming IPL 2023 tournament and the excitement is through the roof at Chepauk as crowd gathered to see MS Dhoni and co. in a practice match.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) didn’t have a very good outing in IPL 2022 and there were many issues with the side as well, but they have rebooted themselves and have added some firepower in Ben Stokes and the returning Deepak Chahar.

CSK will face off against Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 tournament opener at Ahmedabad on March 31st.

The IPL 2023 will also be a huge deal for all CSK fans as they will see their ‘Thala’ playing at home in Chepauk for the first time since 2019. MS Dhoni had also said in IPL 2022 that he will not retire from the game without saying goodbye to all loyal fans in Chennai and other venues as well, as IPL 16 will be played on a home and away basis.

Meanwhile, as MS Dhoni came out to bat during the practice match, the Chepauk roared loudly, taking his name.

Apart from him, the CSK fans also welcomed back Ravindra Jadeja and Deepak Chahar. Jadeja also did the ‘Jhukega Nahi Saala’ gesture from the Pushpa movie, which led to loud cheers from the Chepauk crowd.
