Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Ben Stokes seems to be in complete control of his game as the 2023 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) draws closer.
The same was evident in a video posted by CSK on Instagram, where Stokes was seen hitting two monstrous sixes.
It was Stokes’ first-ever practice session with the franchise and he certainly left a mark with his outing. While his first six came against a right-arm pacer as he smashed the delivery over the bowler's head, the other was a throwdown which was dispatched over long off fence.

Stokes, who missed the last two seasons of IPL due to various reasons, was snapped by Chennai Super Kings for a hefty sum of INR 16.25 Crore at the mini-auction in December 2022.
The England Test skipper, however, will leave the cash-rich tournament early to lead his side in the one-off Test against Ireland and prepare for the home Ashes series.
The 16th season of IPL is scheduled to be played from March 31 to May 28. On the other hand, the solitary Test versus Ireland is due to get underway on June 1 at Lord’s and the iconic Ashes series against Australia will begin on June 16.
