Former Indian captain MS Dhoni will be next seen in action in the upcoming 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, which will be held in India from April to May.
He will once again don the skipper’s hat for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the upcoming IPL 2023. Well, it is being said that the upcoming IPL 16 will be Dhoni’s last appearance in the T20 league; however, there is no official word, neither from the legendary cricketer nor the franchise.
Notably, the former Indian skipper announced his retirement from international cricket on August 15, 2020. Meanwhile, Dhoni has already begun his preparations for the IPL 2023, as the latest video of him doing a net session went viral on social media.
In a video shared by one of Dhoni’s fans on Twitter, the CSK skipper can be seen batting at the nets. It shows that Dhoni is eyeing the fifth IPL title for the franchise before calling time on his career.
