IPL 2023 Auction: Rilee Rossouw bags massive bid from DC; RR give Joe Root maiden IPL deal; Shakib goes to KKR

Out of the shortlisted players, 273 are Indians and 132 are overseas players of which 4 players are from associate nations. The total number of capped players is 119, uncapped players are 282, and 4 are from associate nations.

The last accelerated round of auction began and saw some players getting bids as the franchises emptied their purses in the IPL 2023 auction.

Rilee Rossouw was the biggest buy of this accelerated auction as Delhi Capitals bought him for INR 4.60 crores.

RR got Adam Zampa for his base price of INR 1.50 crs. And Afghanistan pacer Naveen Ul Haq went to LSG for his base price.

RR then bought Joe Root giving him his first IPL deal.

KKR bought the talented Bangladesh duo of Litton Das and Shakib Al Hasan.

RR also filled their domestic Indian players' slots with base price buys of M Ashwin, Akash Vashisth, and Abdul PA.
