The big stage is set for the IPL 2023 auction in Kochi, which is scheduled to start at 2:30 PM, where a total of 87 players will get the opportunity to be part of the world’s biggest T20 event next year.

Ahead of the IPL 2023 auction, Suresh Raina named two Indians who can set the auction table on fire in Kochi on Friday (December 23), and they are none other than Jaydev Unadkat and Narayan Jagadeesan, who were excellent in domestic cricket this season.

While Unadkat finished the recent Vijay Hazare Trophy with 19 wickets in 10 games at an economy rate of 3.33; Jagadeesan slammed five consecutive centuries for Tamil Nadu, and Raina expected the duo to be hot picks among the 10 franchisees.

Raina said in a Jio Cinema show: “Then there is Jaydev Unadkat who just won the Vijay Hazare Trophy and has a lot of experience in the IPL. N Jagadeesan has a very good cricketing brain, and he bats so deep, is a very smart, calculative batsman. He has done really well for Tamil Nadu, watch out for him.”

Meanwhile, the former Indian batter picked Ireland fast bowler Josh Little as a player to watch while saying England all-rounders Sam Curran and Ben Stokes would be hot properties at the auction.

Raina signed off by saying, “Sam Curran has done really well for England as well as for Chennai Super Kings and there is Ben Stokes who has led England well. So having a top all-rounder in your team can change the movement of the game. Watch out for Joshua Little from Ireland. He has done really well in the World Cup just now, and I just played with him.”
