On November 15, 2022, all of the ten Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises unveiled the list of players that they had retained and released ahead of the IPL 2023 auction.

GUJARAT TITANS

Jason Roy was the big name released by GT, while Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Lockie Ferguson were traded to Kolkata Knight Riders. GT opted to retain Matthew Wade despite his lukewarm outing in IPL 2022.
