Qualifier 2 of IPL 2022 between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) got underway at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad on May 27, 2022. The winner of this encounter will face Gujarat Titans (GT) in the IPL 15 final on May 29 in Ahmedabad.
Sanju Samson of RR won the toss and chose to bowl first. Both the teams came into this critical encounter with unchanged playing XIs.
Virat Kohli fell for 7 runs and captain Faf du Plessis made 25 runs. Runs were hard to come by despite Rajat Patidar hitting 4 fours and 3 sixes in his 58 and Glenn Maxwell making 24 in 13 balls with 2 sixes and 1 four. This was due to brilliant bowling by RR bowlers, especially Prasidh Krishna and Obed McCoy.

Prasidh Krishna had started by taking the wicket of Virat Kohli early and took two more to end with 3/22, while Obed McCoy took 3/23. Trent Boult also took the wicket of dangerous Glenn Maxwell, as RCB finished with 157/8 in 20 overs.
The cricket fraternity was all praises for Prasidh Krishna for his bowling effort for RR against RCB in the Qualifier 2.
