Gujarat Titans (GT) will face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2022 on Tuesday at Kolkata's Eden Gardens Stadium.

GT finished first in the league with ten wins out of fourteen matches. RR was not far behind, winning nine of the fourteen matches.

Chahal has played a significant part in the Royals' trip to the playoffs after being released by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the IPL mega auction. Chahal had a memorable season in the IPL 2022, scoring a hat-trick in the 15th edition.

Players from both sides were seen greeting each other during training sessions before the match. Yuzvendra Chahal and Rashid Khan, two spinners who are expected to have a significant impact on the match's outcome, also posed for photos.

Chahal asked the photographers to give the photos to him immediately after they were taken.

The leg-spinner went on to add, "Maine aapke Instagram par message bhi kia, where are my photos, abhi tak reply nahi aaya. Social media par panga nahi, account hack karwa dunga. (I messaged you guys on Instagram asking where are my photos. I will get your account hacked, do not mess on social media with me.)"

Chahal presently holds the Purple Cap for most wickets in IPL 2022, having taken 26 wickets in 14 matches. Rashid Khan, on the other hand, has 18 wickets in as many games.

Hardik Pandya's squad will be confident going into Qualifier 1 after defeating Sanju Samson's side earlier this season.
