IPL 2022: “I will definitely be around IPL next year”, confirms AB de Villiers

Both the teams have shown tremendous grit and determination to reach the playoffs and now is the time for them to bring their A-game as the loser of this match will be out of the competition.

Considering the importance of this match, here is the COC Predicted Playing XIs for the LSG v RCB IPL 2022 Eliminator match.

LUCKNOW SUPER GIANTS

LSG played out of their skins in their final league match against KKR and dumped them out of the race for the playoffs while qualifying themselves. Now they face the challenge of coming up against RCB, who will be eager to enter the second qualifier after luck handed them a chance to come into the playoffs.

IPL 2022: "I am surprised for sure", Virender Sehwag on playoffs line-up

KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock scripted history against KKR, adding 210 runs for the opening wicket an IPL record, with De Kock scoring 140*, the third-highest individual score in IPL history. LSG will hope for a repeat of this performance at the Eden Gardens.

LSG | BCCI-IPLKrunal Pandya is expected to come back into the playing XI and join Deepak Hooda, Manan Vohra, and Marcus Stoinis in the middle order. Stoinis bowled a nerve-wracking final over against KKR and his load might possibly lessen by LSG bringing in Dushmantha Chameera for Evin Lewis in the XI.

Jason Holder has been brilliant with the ball, barring the KKR match, but his experience will be valuable here. Avesh Khan and Mohsin Khan will be expected to bring in the heat with their pace, while Ravi Bishnoi might hope for some purchase from the Eden Gardens wicket.

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE

RCB got into the playoffs thanks to Mumbai Indians beating the Delhi Capitals in their last league match. Now they have a renewed vigor to go all the way and become champions of the IPL for the first time.

Not many changes are expected on the RCB side as they found the perfect working combination for them. Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Rajat Patidar, and Glenn Maxwell form the best top-order RCB could’ve hoped for, especially now that Kohli has rediscovered his form.

RCB | BCCI-IPLMahipal Lomror and Shahbaz Ahmed have assisted Dinesh Karthik well in finishing the innings and one more effort will be needed by them to push RCB closer to the finals.

Rishabh Pant cheated of Rs 1.63 crore by Haryana cricketer Mrinank Singh

Harshal Patel is expected to play despite his injury with Josh Hazlewood expected to put pressure on LSG openers and keep them silent. RCB might opt for Akash Deep in place of Siddharth Kaul or Mohammed Siraj, given that he plays for Bengal in domestic cricket and knows the surface well.

LSG COC Predicted Playing XI:

KL Rahul (C), Quinton de Kock (WK), Manan Vohra, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, Marcus Stoinis, Jason Holder, Dushmantha Chameera, Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan, Ravi Bishnoi

RCB COC Predicted Playing XI:

Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis (C), Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, Mahipal Lomror, Dinesh Karthik (WK), Shahbaz Ahmed, Harshal Patel, Wanindu Hasaranga, Josh Hazlewood, Akash Deep
